Thanks to the Children's Hospital League, patients in need of transport will ride in the hospital's new, state-of-the-art ambulance. The truck provides a safe, comfortable, and friendly environment for neonatal and pediatric patients, and is big enough to fit two patients along with two parents or guardians. The vehicle's unique features include an X-ray view box, an IV fluid warmer and a DVD player for children who are awake during transport. | ||||||||
