On Sunday, September 16, 2018 the Boston Children’s Hospital League teamed up with Bloomingdale’s in Chestnut Hill, for its second “Fashionable Fundraiser.” It was a wonderful day of friends and philanthropy that started in the morning with a beautiful buffet brunch hosted by Bloomingdale’s. In addition to sipping on mimosas and chatting with friends, guests had the opportunity to hear more about the League and what we do to support the children and families at the hospital. Bloomingdale’s graciously opened their doors before business hours to allow guests to enjoy a private shopping experience. The morning also included a raffle with many wonderful items, and one lucky person walked away with a designer handbag.
From the shopping and raffle we raised close to $10,000. 10% of proceeds from that day was donated to the Boston Children’s Hospital League. It truly was a spectacular day!!! A special thank you to the BCHL volunteers, Bloomingdale’s and all of our friends and family who came out to support our cause.
